Accused....Carmen Toro

The sister of Antonio Toro, and wife of José Emilio Suárez Trashorras, Carmen Toro is a Spanish citizen from Asturias and the only woman accused in connection with the bombings. She is charged with traffic, supply and transport of explosive substances and the prosecution requests a sentence of 4 years imprisonment. Toro has declared that she was in the property in Morata de Tajuña, where the bombs are said to have been prepared, in February 2004. Registers of telephone calls link her to others involved in the explosives supply and transport.
