Memorial To The Victims

Yesterday was the 3rd anniversary of the train bombings, and it saw the unveiling of the monument to the victims that has been erected in Atocha railway station in Madrid. The 11 metre high monument is constructed from thousands of glass bricks. Inside are the names of the 191 people killed in the bombings, and many of the messages that were left at the scenes of the bombings in the days that followed.
