A Spanish citizen from Avilés in Asturias, he is accused of transport and supply of explosive substances. For these charges the prosecution requests a sentence of 8 years imprisonment. Alleged to be an associate of José Emilio Suárez Trashorras and Antonio Toro, he was detained on the 9th June 2004. According to the prosecution, Granados did not take part in transporting the explosive for the bombs to Madrid, but he is accused of having accompanied Trashorras in at least one visit to the mine where the dynamite was stolen. He is not currently in prison.
